Time to play! Here I’m trimming the hat using more of the leather to create some wave like sculptural pieces which I’m carefully placing in the right part of the hat for the best emphasis. I’ll continually put the hat to my head and on a model to check for balance in this part of the process. Once it’s happy, I’m pinning and stiching.
