Step 3: Cover Buckram in Domet or similar
If the intention is to cover the buckram base in a particularly thin or delicate fabric, or one which will show up all lumps and bumps (not the good kind), I'll cover the buckram base in a lining fabric, such as Domet. This can be steamed, blocked and sewn, or in this case, ironed on before removing the pins and base from the block.
